Happy Belated Birthday Wishes to Mama Espinoza...108!...a true living legend of the old Baja Road. She has created so many great memories for all of us Baja fans who have stopped at her café in El Rosario. Some kind of lady.

That's correct. Not Rosalia.

Please excuse my mistake, Mikey. I was the one that was confused. Again, my fingers have outraced my brain. I have corrected myself and will submit to some chastisements by Co-pilot.

Again, Feliz Cupleanos to Mama Espinoza.

p.s. DK, I believe that was a record-time correction of yours. Congrats!

I was just confirming him and not correcting you my friend. I just happened to get Internet at that moment to read Nomad on the train here.

Happy Birthday Anita Espinoza!

A good friend of mine just lost his father last week at age 98.

Not that amazing, I guess.

But what was amazing is that his wife is still 98, living, and they were married for 79 YEARS!!! Incredible!!!

I find myself wondering which is more difficult........living for 98 years or staying married for 79 years.

I think I know the answer. No comment.

Mama helped my wife and first husband out when they went to La Paz Xmas vacation (from college) in a rain storm traveling in a Cab Forward Jeep with a camped on it. We have visited her for a few minutes several times and always found her friendly, smiling and kind. There should be more people like her.
Looks like she had a good influence on David also. What an escape from the LeBarons he made and met her.
