I needed a grandson fix so jumped on the bus to Ensenada for the long weekend...dont forget offices will be closed on Monday! My bus ride was miserable and I surely would appreciate a lift south if anyone has a wee bit of room for my skinny butt!

Anytime Tuesday or Wednesday would be great. I would like to visit relatives in BOLA or Rosalillita or GN...either of these drop offs would work. I can help with gas and promise stellar company....hahaha.

and as always a free night at the Inn if you want to visit Asuncion and load up on yellowtail!

My family and I picked Shari up in June on our way down to Mulege. She is a delightful person and a wealth of information. I quizzed her for hours and she patiently answered my questions and entertained us with wonderful stories. We are hoping to make a trip down Bahia Asuncion someday to see her little slice of paradise. If I was headed south this week it would be my pleasure to find a spot in our car for her "skinny little butt".

thank you Jake...it was a fun ride and your kids were delightful...please give them all a big hug from me! I may just have to go to San Quintin as one of Juan's aunts is very ill there and we might go to the hospital. I have had a fantastic visit with Sirenita and Izaak the last few days...pics when I get home. The highlight was of course a couple margaritas at Hussongs last night! hahaha

Hope for a quick visit to BOLA and the place that shall remain unnamed tomorrow.

Hi Shari,

Our family: boys 6 & 13, wife and me are traveling in a four door Tacoma to Mulege leaving Chula Vista on Friday noon crossing Tecate, sleeping in El Rosario at Baja Cactus and continue onto Mulege after breakfast at Mama Espinoza's on Saturday morning (early)... we'll be glad to have your company along the way if this works for you... :bounce:

...work to camp and fish.... dream to be there....

gracias Carlos but I need to get back to our Inn by Wednesday as we have guests coming...but thanks so much for offering to take me...maybe another time.

the problem taking the bus from Ensenada is that the only bus in the daytime leaves here at 2:00 pm so gets to our neck of the desert in the middle of the night inconveniencing whoever comes to get me....so looks like it's the night bus again for me...dang it.
