The 2009 Baja California Almanac is still the best map book, nothing else compares. The AAA folding map, if you can find one was last printed in 2010
(I believe), using data gathered from 2003-2007. The auto club is no longer making Baja mapping expeditions, after 90 years... Very sad!
2003 and 2009 Baja Almanacs...
1974 AAA Baja Map was the last one to have the large detail of northern Baja on one side (down to just past El Rosario and Puertecitos)...
The same area on the last edition...

The almanac it is! I used to have one.. totally forgot. Gave mine to a gracious couple that lived at Posada Conception, who hosted us for a cold
,windy Xmas back in 88.

When you get it, note that there are some typos on the latitude numbers discovered by bajalou and posted in the 2009 thread when the book came out: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=42176
CORRECTIONS:
On Maps 5 & 6, the latitude changes to make: All the 31º figures needs to be 30º (the minutes are fine).
On Map 7: All the 31º figures need to be changed to 29º and the one 30º figure needs to be 28º.
Map 12 [RIGHT side only] latitude figures are wrong, they should be the same numbers as on the left side.
Map 18 degree figures on both sides are wrong: the 25º figures should all be 24º, and the 26º figures should all be 25º.
Oso also noted these errors in 2009:
Got mine today, ordered online last week. Noticed a few errors right away. Aside from spelling- Gulfo, Cuidad, it says the San Luis border crossing is
open from 6AM to 8PM. Jeez, if that were true we'd never get any lettuce picked. It's been 24/7 for many years.

You are welcome hombre... I am happy to share my history sources, and there are maybe a million maps in my files (many have been shown here on Nomad).
The Baja Nomad Historical Interests forum will be where most are. Please feel free to ask or message me any requests.
