Cardonhugger,
A sensible and well spoken post. And if I may say, the most realistic and true tone you have yet used. A far cry from the sarcastic and sardonic hue
of your earlier posts. Well done.
Now, you don't mind if I recommend you for membership in th 4S club, do you? (See David K's thread on the Seven Sisters and Grover's reply.) I'M JUST
JOKING!!
Seriously though, thanks for the thoughtful reply. You are obviously pasionate about your beliefs, and there ain't nothin' wrong with that. If we
ever meet up, the drinks are on me.
subvert the dominant paradigm
"If you travel with a man, you must either fall out with him or make him your good friend."

... great... and folks, this is what sets this board far and above others... Lot's of BAJA related converstions and we can disagree but be mature
enough to respect the differences. Having a beer to end the heated posts is far better than insulting name calling or icons.
Viva Baja everyone!

i understand your point, to a point. the way you chose to flame others thru u2u and by posting here some other remarks only serve to ruffle feathers
other than bring others to your side of the arguement/conversation.
the only reason i posted was because someone shared some advice with me and i thought i'd share my good time with others. i certainly don't want to
see another san carlos or scorp bay in this area, but hey, it's gonna happen sooner or later, unfortunately.
in the future i won't be so "vocal" regarding places if you'll stop trying to get a rise out of me on every other site, it's childish to say the
least.

Woody,
I believe I've made 3 or 4 posts on this site and that is it. If somebody else is riding you on this or (God-forbid) other sites, that shows there's
others that are into keeping a low profile to protect surf wilderness. You will be amazed how infrequently one scores decent surf in the area,
anyway. It's really about the remoteness, ecology, and lack of people! The AAA Baja book nailed it 30 years ago when discussing the area: "Surfers
sometimes visit this area; not for the quality of the waves, but for the lack of other surfers." I had rested my case weeks ago.

FORTUNATLELY AND UNFORTUNATELY ITS ALL ABOUT LOCATION(and money). AS THE ENCLAVES SPREAD NORTH SO WILL THE DESTUCTION OF COVES AND BEACHHEADS.
THANKFULLY THE WEST COAST IS AS INACCESSABLE AS IT IS. SURFERS ARE SO MUCH EASIER ON THE PLANET. ALTHOUGH I OWN A HOME IN (MULEGE)BAJA, I FEEL A LACK
OF LIMITS ON HUGE COASTAL RESORT PLANS SUCH AS THE CANADIAN CONSORTIUM IN LORETO COULD THROW WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE ONTO SENSITIVE BEACHES AND WATERS ON
BOTH SIDES OF BAJA.I AM PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH THE BAHIA CONCEPCION AS ITS ECOSYSTEM COULD BE AT RISK FROM OVERUSE.
I REMEMBER CRUISING ALONG IN MAUI LOOKING DOWN AT SCORES OF PEOPLE
FLOATING AROUND LIKE MANATEES IN THE COVES. MAN, TALK ABOUT NOT GETTING AWAY FROM IT ALL. NOT PRETTY! CHINGADERO! LOS TIBURONES
