Favorite time of year

I look forward to Thanksgiving time every year when the water starts to cool down and fishing gets going as we move into our winter season. This year has been no different and when the bait started returning, we knew things were going to get real good.
Lynne Weiser, from Punta Chivato went with me and we got a couple of really nice fish in addition to a large catch of yellowtail. Her Amberjack weighed in at 77.2 pounds and the Cabrilla was 17.3.

Nice job!

And the rumor is........ You didn't lift a hand to help Lynne until she called for the gaff. I wish I had muscles like that.

Chuckie, the live bait is back in force. We filled the tank in 20 minutes in Santa Rosalia with mostly green mackerel and a few big eye thrown in for good measure.
