Posting Youtube videos (as of December, 2014)

I just implemented some BBcode that should make older embedded flash videos operable again. You'll have to test and let me know if you observe any issues with them.

Here's an example of that code using the older Youtube embed URL format:
[flash=640x360]http://www.youtube.com/v/b3GpitwrP64[/flash]

I also created a new BBcode for videos specifically from Youtube.com using the current embed code. All you need is the Youtube ID and the dimensions (width and height).

Here's an example of what to use for Youtube.com-specific videos:
[youtube=640x360]b3GpitwrP64[/youtube]

I've turned off the BBcode for this post so that you can see the code as-is. I'll copy and paste the message above into the following post, and let's see how it works? Let me know if you're having any issues with either. Thank you.

So the exact same way, but instead of the word 'flash' in the tags we use 'youtube'?

El gusto es mio.

Wouldn't be nice if Nomad had a "Like" button for quick, easy acknowledgment of a post? Tacoma World does, ... it is nice.

Maybe the smiley face works for this? :biggrin:
