anyone pass that way recently, if so, how is it for riding a large dual sport motorcycle TIA.

Here are the mileages between Hwy. 3 and Hwy. 1 via Mike's, on this map of the area from Mike's to Meling Ranch...

You can go to their Facebook and ask what the conditions are. There are off-road motorcycle groups that go there on a regular basis so my guess is it's OK.

Not a good road for big bikes unless you are very accomplished.

did it 2 weeks ago an xr400 and it was great. some rocky eroded spots at the begining and muddy over the summit. If you do go up, take the right at the blue sign, much easyer
