BoLA

These endless lands and unique waters are not simply soil and sea. These elements of earth and water are as much a part of me as my blood and organs. And the people that populate this corner of the world lift my spirit to heights that allow me to see what is truly important; The beauty of life. And that is the essential gift.

Briantroy, Did you hit send too soon, or was your post so offensive that B.N. decided to chuck the whole thing?

Sorry. I am still composing the trip report. I sent the post by mistake. Please hang on, I am writing a masterpiece.

Brian, maybe just add on to this thread to keep it cohesive? or go into your original post above and click "edit", remove what you wrote and copy/paste the new, good version into this?

I wonder how many actually say "Bow-La" (BOLA)?

I use "L.A. Bay" for short, and local gringos usually say just "Bahia", from what I have heard.

Most of the time we say Bahia. However, if in thread like this we say BOLA or LA BAY because in Baja there are many Bahia's.
