Bahia Asuncion...big burro waves & fish!

the monster swell was very dramatic the last few days but did not stop anxious fishermen from loading up with monster yellowtail! Here are some specimens to admire....mostly over 40 lbs.

We had a great visit from Motoged & Standingwave...who made this beautiful screen for our office at La Bufadora Inn...gotta love guests who build stuff eh!

and a couple shots of the last full moon here

other local news is that the government is starting work on a new malecon here in Asuncion which will go from the "Y" in the middle of town out along the bayside to the fishing cooperativa out by our place! I also heard they are paving the road between here and Pta.Prieta next year as part of the long term project to make a circle route to be paved all the way along the coast to Abreojos...that will be soooo cool!
