Heading South


Leaving Tecate around March 21 2015 heading to Loreto. Im looking to caravan with someone at least the first part of the trip.

Slims, are you heading down the west side on Mex 1, or crossing over to San Felipe and going south on Mex 5? Have you made the trip before?
I will be going back down that way about the same time period, I usually stay on the east side.
Are you camping, have an RV, or staying in motels?

I plan on driving a SUV and staying in motels.

Well it looks like you will have plenty of time to hook up with some one and plan a route (subject to change of course)
I probably wouldn't be a good fit, I travel with a dog, and we usually find beaches and camping places that are fairly remote.
Have a great trip, and I am sure you can find great suggestions on this board about where to stay.
