San Diego to Baja ???

I haven't been down to the Baja in 20 years. Last time I ended up in Encinitas where they were filming Titanic next door to where I parked my Rv for the night. Can some one give me instruction (made easy please) on where to cross coming from i5 heading South??Thanks

Encinitas? Titanic next door? Wow... what a trip man!

Seriously however, have fun... just relax, smile, and enjoy Mexico's California... what we call 'Baja'!

5/805 split

If you're coming north of the 5/805 junction, stay left going South and take the 805, which will hit the border. I finally realized that it is a few miles shorter, because I5 curves west towards the beaches, but the 805 heads straight to the border!

Just saves a few minutes and some gas is all, really.

Ahhbajaguy is correct. Right after you cross, pull over to the right, park and enter that building to get your temporary visa called FMM

DOESN't take but 15 minutes and you pay right then and there. How much is it nowadays?

Being Mexican citizens, we don't go there any more.
