Mulege Iron Wood carver needs a motor


Please assist our local artisan with help acquiring a small electric motor for sanding and cutting. 1 to 1 1/2 hp should be fine. U2u me for info, thanks.....

Is he doing direct-drive of his blades on long or a double-ended motor shaft or is his setup belt-driven to an arbor? I can't remember what he has, other than a few fingers left! Amazing guy.

Sorry, me no hay motor, will ask/look around.

Would an old 5 hurricane washer motor suffice? Might need bearings, Marcos could do that. But not sure its available. Or, ask Marcos what he has in in motor pile that could be rebuilt.

I already ordered and received one for Jose Morales. I did a carving trade with him a 1.5 horse. Just have to get to him in a couple of weeks if you should see him
