Yet another surf trip
We made a quick dash to a point break not far south of Ensenada on Jan 23-25 to catch the big NW swell. Great conditions, glassy most of the day with
just a touch of afternoon texture...EPIC!
Here's the inside wrap, it was much bigger on the outside of course:
Me setting up:
Another of me angling in late:
My buddy was hucking some fin on his Biscuit:
Sometimes you just gotta give them the straightarm:
A couple more of me on some juicy sections during the afternoon session:
Another friend doing the airdrop on a sponge:
Yes, I made this one:
We had to share the waves with some hostile locals:
Another great trip!

Actually the water was quite pleasant, maybe 58-59? Plenty of sunshine too. There were a couple other groups camping but it was far from crowded and
plenty of waves to go around!

The locals know all those secret point breaks "not to far south of Ensenada" but they're not talking.

Nice...! yeah I don't think it really gets much warmer than that in the summer either. Very interesting cold water current that runs there.
