Road Bump........Tope?

I never get tired of driving the Baja. Beauty, and times of sublime isolation!

Did you pile up 3 rocks to warn oncoming traffic of that hazard in the road? If not it doesn't matter anyway. While traveling between Cabo and Todos Santos I came across an old Chevy that was in a vado with the whole rear axle out from under it. Went up the road a few hundred yards and piled up the rocks like you're supposed to do but before I even got back in my truck an 18 wheeler came whizzing by and old Chevy was no mas.

No problem with the 18 wheelers. They always drive in the center of the road. Would just be a nice breeze blowing over you.

Nice PHOTO

Many years ago, while in Cancun, we decided to drive over to Chichen Itza. This was before they built that great toll road. So, it was a two lane that seemed to have about 500 topes along the route.

The toll road probably cuts 90 minutes off the trip.
