Punta Chivato in a weekend
This past weekend we headed over to Punta Chivato for the annual garage sale. Wish we could have gone on Friday to hear Pescador and his group play.
Everyone says it was fantastic.
We took two youngsters to santa rosalia for school id photos, a medical exam (which can only be done during the week) and eye exams (nither one needs
glasses - whew!)
We left them window shopping and waiting for their ride back and we went on to Mulege to have lunch with bajanomaer bajaumpaw - there was a stop at
the mechanic - no trip is complete without one!
Here is a pic of Les and I as we head up to Equipales to have lunch
Headed over to Punta Chivato to this beautiful view (and this house is for sale!)
After a wonderful night's sleep listening to the lapping of the waves - we headed off to the huge garage sale!

AFTER TWO HOURS OF SALES, THE GARAGE SALE WAS PRETTY MUCH OVER AND I HEAR OVER PESOS$80,00O WAS RAISED FOR THE VARIOUS PROGRAMS THE CHIVATO HOMEOWNERS
GROUP SUPPORTS. THIS YEAR, LIKE THE FIRST YEAR THEY HELD THE SALE, THEY DONATED THE LEFTOVER TO ME FOR MY PROJECTS.
SO, ON THE WAY BACK WE STOPPED HERE FOR TACOS
AND STOPPED IN SAN IGNACIO TO DONATE CLOTHES - SHOES - HOUSEHOLD GOODS TO THIS GROUP WHO TAKE IN EX ADDICTS WHO WANT REHAB. I LOVE WHAT THEY DO! AND
THIS WAS ONE WAY TO HELP OUT:
HERE IS A PIC OF THE LA HUERTA HOTEL (WE ARE HEADING OUT OF TOWN, DOWN THE STREET WITH THE MISSION AHEAD OF US
THIS LOCAL CO-TEACHER WILL TAKE THE BLANKETS AND DONATED CLOTHES AND SHOES TO THE RANCHES
AND THAT IS THE END OF THIS TRIP - THANKS FOR RIDING ALONG WITH US!

thanks. BTW woody - please pretty please bring some surf wax the next time you head as far as asuncion. the younger kids have been asking and I
keep forgetting to put the word out .....I can easily get it from Shari if it gets that far!

hi Cap! I get a chuckle every time I write any word with the letters
a- s -s in it!
so hysterical to see gl- as -ses turn into glasses  ))
