Best way to get from TIJ to SAN airports
I'm flying from Loreto on Aereo Calafia to Tijuana. I have a flight out of San Diego a few hours later. Just wondering the quickest/safest way to get
from the TIJ airport to SAN. Will be returning a week later so I will also need the same info coming back. I've heard of shuttles, taxis. Just need
to make sure I make my connections.

The Greyhound bus can be taken from the TIJ airport to Santa Fe Station (train station) in San Diego. One would need to take a cab or San Diego city
bus to the SAN airport from there. Similarly, one could take a cab to the border, take the trolley to Santa Fe Station, and likewise - would need
transportation to the SAN airport from the train station.

992 bus
When you clear US Customs, get on the trolly to the Santa Fe station, then board the 992 bus to the airport. Don't know if a few hours will allow you
enough time to make the connection from TJ, through Customs and the trip to SAN

I just did that whole thing a few weeks ago.
I don't recommend the Volaris shuttle from
Tijuana to San Diego as you generally will be waiting for the departure, unless your flight coincides with their schedule and then they drop you off
at the US Customs where in our case we waited in a long line for 1.5 hours to get through. On the other side the shuttle never showed up for another
2 hours...!! Two of the groups missed their flights in San Diego. It would have been far superior to take a taxi from the airport to the border,
cross, and then take the trolley, as long as there is enough time.
On the return journey we scrapped the shuttle, didn't want to deal with the trolley (early flight) and took a taxi from the airport to the border (usd
$70), crossed, and took another taxi from the stand to the airport. The simplicity was worth every penny 
Regardless of your choice, the unknown variable is how long you will wait in the US Customs line-up.

Don't know if you have Uber but it is much cheaper than a taxi (and very reliable). Fare from the border to SAN is $30 max (depending on traffic).
We never take cabs anymore if Uber is available; generally less than 50% of a taxi fare.
