Moose sausage into Baja?

I know most of the regs for what I cannot take north in the US but what food products can come south into Baja?? Friend visiting from Alaska is raving about his Moose sausage! Smoked Salmon, too. He would love to bring us some samples of his labors. Has anyone brot these foods into Mexico especially if travelling on an airplane. Many thanks. Tomas

Stupid me, flying into baja, I put our evening appetizer of Elk sausage on the top of ice box food in cabin of plane. Flying on a private plane belonging to a friend. Cleared customs in La Paz, they took it, not allowed.

If I had put it in regular cooler in the nose compartment they would not have seen it.

Good stuff but not permitted legally.

Better not take a chance! If your friend is flying out of Anchorage, either my son or I will be willing to meet him at the airport and take custody of the contraband.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

Have it commercially wrapped and labeled - like from a supermarket and fly into Cabo.

Loreto will take it.
