Mexican Health Options and Alternative Medicine Seminar
It's hard to know what health options are out there in a foreign country. Come to our free seminar on Mexican Healthcare Options in Baja. We will be
discussing Mexican Health Insurance, what to do in an emergency and end of life issues. Rafael Solorzano, a licensed Mexican attorney will be present
to answer all of your legal questions concerning Mexican health law and other legal issues in Mexico. The info seminar will be held on Friday, March 6
at 12 noon at Baja Calypso Restaurant, K38.
The fusion between conventional and alternative medicine has never been more important as it is now. Many are tired of the side effects of medications
and high risk solutions conventional medicine has to offer. We are presenting Anna Zimmerman who will discuss her life changing way of eating
naturally, Cathy Mishkin Bliss who will present her natural non-invasive biofeedback technology that can identify stressors and imbalances in your
body that could be causing health issues. Betsy McLean is an advocate for cannabis based products and will discuss the many benefits of using this
natural product to treat a wide variety of ailments and stress factors. This seminar will be at Baja Calypso Restaurant, K38 on March 27th, Friday at
12 pm.
Please RSVP on Sunset Medical Group and Home Care's Facebook page.

Tread lightly doc, I don't think Mexico has passed a "Medical Marijuana" law yet.

Talking about it and advocating it are two different things. I am not advocating anything personally to do with marijuana but if my patients decide
to discuss it, that is part of patient rights. They also make their own health decisions and I don't advocate smoking cigarettes much less marijuana
because marijuana has been clinically proven to cause more lung damage when smoked than cigarettes. Everyone has the freedom to make their own
decisions and the physiology behind the endocannabinoid system is very interesting and I look forward to hearing about it.

I think we've had this discussion before and the research I have done shows mixed reviews but ultimately I don't think smoking anything is a good
thing. That being said some patients get profound relief from whatever they are smoking and is their decision.

[Edited on 3-7-2015 by EnsenadaDr] | I think it's fair to say that smoking marijuana, could cause some lung
damage, but there is absolutely zero evidence that it causes more damage than cigarettes, which kill many thousands of people every year.
