How do I.....


legally import a hunting rifle/shotgun into Baja Calafornia Sur.

Where do I start, and what do I have to provide......if possible at all.

I own several firearms and use them regularly and legally in the USA and other countries, but not Mexico anymore. Mexico is not a country I would advise bringing a firearm, especially an expensive one that I would like to keep. Take ths recent case of the jailed Marine as an example. You are much better off using a sporting/shooting club or going with a licensed outfitter who has his own legal arms for your use. Whatever path you persue, good luck with the process.
