Thanks Shari! Yes, the migrating spirit has moved me. Perhaps next spring I will be able to set up next to your palapa for longer than a few days and
help with busy weekends.
We will be there in a few weeks- hoping for lots of friendlies to greet my sister and friends who have dreamt of seeing whales (1st time for them)
Re:full size school busses- a schoolie is probably overkill for what I have in mind, and then there's the parking issue. So... I will start small- or
at least medium- and see how it goes from here. But I am reading the skoolie websites for ideas/inspiration about how to outfit the interior.

I have owned diesel trucks for over 15 years now. The ford 7.3 is awesome. However as a great diesel mechanic has told me, the key to a diesel motor
is the 3 F's..... FUEL FILTERS FLUIDS. Bio Diesel does not fit in this category. If you plan on running bio diesel you will have major
problems, if you want to break down often with your customers/friends on board, filler up.

Are you familiar with this study, summarized here?

Basically, since newer diesel has less sulfur than past blends, many diesel owners use additives to increase lubricity/reduce friction. This study
analyzed the results of using nearly 20 different products. The best turned out to be soy-based biodiesel.

| I never experienced any problems with burning bio-diesel. I installed a bypass oil filter on my 7.3, that
motor takes 16 quarts every time you change the oil, the bypass filter removes particles down to .02 microns, allowing you to extend the oil changes
to 15-20,000 miles, which saves a lot of money. I have had it on my truck since it had 60,000 miles, now I have over 150,000, and have had no
mechanical issues, and have never had to add a drop of oil between changes.

You were inspired, never doubt it. Great idea! Put me on your list for Guadalupe Valley trips. Should be in San Felipe much of the year VERY soon.

So how is the bus coming along? My son has used bio-diesel in his work trucks for a long time with no problems.
