Cabo -Costco and Tire center

Hi everyone , I have a 2003 Ford F-250 crew cab.

I'm wondering if Costco has a tire Center in Cabo. Also will be passing through La Paz. Does the Sams club have a tire center.

Thank you

I haven't seen a Tire Center at Costco Cabo and we seem to be there at least once a week.

I've been using WalMart here in Ensenada, with total satisfaction.
Does Walmart Cabo have a tire center?

There absolutely is a tire center at the Costco in Cabo. I got my new tires there.

Wherever you decide, IF you are looking for load range E tires, be sure and call them to be sure they can get them quickly. Most tire shops over here do not stock them. If you only use load range D, you are probably OK.

There are many reliable and major brand stores in La Paz, San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas if you do not find what you need at Costco.

Be sure you check the manufactured date that is stamped on the tire. More than likely the tires at a tire center are not fresh, and may even be several years old.
Most of the truck tires have a ten year life span, regardless of mileage,

As Udo says: check the mfg date stamped on the tire before buying. It will indicate the week and year produced. Example: 5209.. Week 52, year 2009.. Friends of mine purchased a new tire (off the shelf) in Loreto a few years ago and it was ten years old.. Be careful.

I'm pretty sure that Costco has sufficient inventory turnover that they wouldn't be selling 10 year old tires.

I am starting to think some posters are seriously impaired. IF you can manage to buy a hot dog at the Cabo San Lucas Costco, just walk towards the ocean about 15 feet(5 +/- meters), turn right and walk about 75 feet(25+/- meters) TOWARDS the city of Cabo San Lucas, and look for an opening in the wall on your right and where there will be workers MOUNTING TIRES!:o

Hola lengua,

when i bought tires at the cabo costco in about 2007, they did not have my tire size in stock and had to order them.

they required me to come in and prepay for the tires which came in about three weeks from my ordering them.

they did mount and balance them and filled them with nitrogen, which the costco in los angeles also fills tires with.

the workers are very professional and when i gave them a tip, we had to go out of camera range or i guess they would get into trouble.

good luck whichever way you decide.

BIEN SALUD, DA RAT

Cabo Costco has a Tire Center that does installs and balancing in plain sight right next to the hotdogs.

WalMart in San Lucas and San Jose does not have a tire center.
