East Cape still windy?

Is the wind still howling in La Ventana and Los Barriles? I believe March is the month the Kiters start packing up for summer at the Gorge. Any recent news is appreciated. Windgrl? Others? I want to go camping after the winter winds recede. Spring has started over here on the Pacific coast. Gracias. Tomas

Hola, Tio,

A great day here or there once per week over the past month. Not windy enough to sail or kite most days, but not calm enough to kayak or snorkel either. Should blow Sunday, maybe Monday, then more cloud.

The mountain biking has been excellent! My tomatoes are outstanding. The fishing has been not so good this side. The whales are heading back south around the tip.

Very peculiar year. Cloudy and cool once again for packing our earthly goods this week.

The rains have been great for the land creatures, though. Cattle are sleek. Everything is starting to leaf out and bloom and the birds are busy. Bring the mosquito repellant, though. Lots of snakes coming out, we even saw a huge white tail buck one day when we were heading south to SJC.

When the way comes to an end, then change. Having changed, you pass through.

Mil Gracias, Amiga. Good report. Cloudy days and light rains have been a blessing. First winter in a while, no? Any reporters from Cabo Pulmo to San Jose? Easter comes early this year. Thinking I may drive over for a one nite excursion to just reinvigorate my interest! :bounce: Tio
