I'm planning a visit and want to stay at Hacienda del Sol. Anyone have any comments.....good or bad? Is it centrally located, walking distance to beach, stores etc? Is the owner fair? Are they clean...any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Heiny

Hacienda del Sol

is located in El Comitan, approximately 15 miles from downtown La Paz. Three miles from end of local bus line. The owner may run a shuttle.

It is within a few hundred yards of the ocean.

Next street over is an "Italian Village" which contains a restuarant in it's compound. I don't know of any taco stands, etc. until you get to El Centenario, 3 miles away.

They have a web-site. Go to this link on this site: http://www.forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=7023
