That check point was the only one on my entire trip down to La Paz and back that insisted I take the tarp off of my utility trailer to see what all I had in it. I was headed north at the time.

I probably used a wrong term. It was manned by soldiers, not Federales.
They did seem to just 'check' my load though! I did not have to open up every container, so not much of an inspection.
