Very quiet in Central Baja

Our gang just returned from ten days, mostly in LABay.
We went down through San Felipe, and out through Tecate.
The one thing that distinguished this trip was the serious lack of visitors, in fact any traffic at all.
We drove from LABay turnoff to El Rosario on Thursday and never passed a single vehicle and met maybe two dozen coming at us.

LABay is a ghost town.

We can only hope for the locals that Spring Break/Semana Santa will pick up business, because right now it is dead dead dead!!

Two weeks ago the Villa Vita campground was FULL of motor homes. I haven't seen that many in quite a few years. I was told they were Canadian, not sure if they went north or south when they left. We headed south a day behind their departure from town, so glad not to run into them.

so happy to read that Baja is going back to the way it was long ago - quiet!

David,
Folks love the bumper sticker on the back window of my truck
that you gave me many moons back.
"Viva Baja" still gets lots of comments and some are asking if you have more to spare.... let me know.
I also have another BV hat when you wear that one out,
Baja Vida talked a sweet cook at El Recreo in Maneadero out of hers (hat that is) and now he wears that one.
