Palm Sunday La Bocana style (church pics)

Last Sunday I went to mass and got there early so I could catch some preMass pictures:

Our church was slowly redone over the last couple years - it is reminiscent of the San Ignacio Mission church in that it has thick beautiful stone walls to the sides. The original church was simple and small. This new portion was build around it, then the inside building was torn down. Many houses here are expanded using the same system.

The walls are about a foot thick - here is the one to the right:

God wants to talk to you but not via text on your cell phone!

The regular priest sprinkled holy water on all of us - he gave a talk that was inspirational.

The black priest is visiting and I am thinking he was the one who celebrated Mass at the cooperative supermarket which commemorated one year 2 days ago and had a full day of activities and raffles, ending with a Mass of Gratitude in the evening.

I prayed for everyone. Have a grand week.

Thanks for the photos of the gorgeous church. They put a lot of work into it.
I wish I would have been there for the sprinkling of the holy water.
