San Ignacio walking tour

Returned yesterday from a magical week in Baja with a group of friends. Rather than make a very long post I'll divide it up to short vignettes.

Had some incredible whale encounters, plus a lovely overnight in town. We stayed at La Huerta hotel and had a delicious dinner at tootsies.

Here's a brief San Ignacio walking tour : it's a real jungle down there between la Huerta hotel and the mission.

Sunrise at the mission

Beautiful sculpture across from the hotel

Another sculpture in the garden

Some of the birds in the cages near the hotel

Will post more later. Off to breakfast with family.

Terry had a busy weekend. she was cooking for a large group when we arrived Sunday en route to the lagoon. Then we saw her at tootsies during dinner on Wednesday night.

She promised to let you know the bag had arrived. Glad you were able to pick it up.

The owner of the sculpture garden is very hospitable...last time we were there, he made us some wonderful juices and also guided us to the roof of the mission for a great view.
