Mood: I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Does Telmex have vacation holds?

Does anyone have personal experience with Telmex regarding "vacation holds?"

I have basic telephone/Internet service for around 380 pesos a month and will not be back to my place for 3-6 months. It's not life changing money that I might have to spend for services during that time but who wants to just throw it away?

Does Telmex have a plan to just suspend service during that time? I will try and call but my Spanish is limited and finding an English speaking rep is hard.

Anyone, anyone?

Just don't pay and start paying when you come back, they turn it back on right after payment, or pay online before you arrive.

You don't pay, they don't provide. Though, check your contract to make sure they won't close your account and re-assign the number to somebody else and/or charge reconnection fee. There is probably a time limit to those absences.
