Punta Agujas Lighthouse

Is the lighthouse on the peninsula at Bajia De Concepcion abandoned? All I can find is that it is called Punta Agujas. Gps is: 26.879266, -111.850823

Just curious as I was looking at other abandoned places to explore on our trip and this looked like it might make a nice place to camp.

Baja Almanac shows a road as well. And if I can't get there in my FJ, then I guess I can't.

there is private property you need to cross at the south end
so be prepared

and i'd get some new tires and realize
the sides of that beauty wont look the same after this trip

good luck...i'm sure you'll make it

That thing has scratches all over it! It gets a lot of love from the Nevada desert.

If it is that much of a PITA I may scrap that little side trip for some other place.

I don't think you made it over that hump, VegasNick. I see we have the same LED light set-up, except mire are mounted on an ARB bumper.

Good luck in making it to the light house. Looks like you have a challenge laid out for you to make it to the light house.
