AC at night is all you need, at this time of year. Not needed during the day. You're in the water and in the shade with a breeze.

I imagine how all those open areas and concrete patios fell like, on a typical 35C day.

Other than some Mexicans that I talked to, people do need AC day and night, this time of year. Nobody is in the water all day, and neither they are in the shade. Not to mention that spending an hour or two in a kitchen, is going to be an ordeal (without AC). Just my 2 cents.

Just to clarify this topic...Mark and Olivia have a rental house right next to theirs. 150ft from the bar and restaurant. The "hotel" is a whole different story......and a sad one....M & O have AC when the generator is running

Mexico!! Where two can live as cheaply as one.....but it costs twice as much.....

And yes, I know B & S's B&B is on the bay. You didn't 'help' me with anything but my morning constitutional. Have an ordinary day ! :smug:

LOL !! You are so right!! ja ja ja, how I can get two guys with similar handles mixed up...? I guess the rudeness you both send my way has me too worn down.

I don't give a bit about any post count, so let that one go... I am just the longest posting Nomad after Doug and I share and help as much as I can.

Sorry for the mix up.

breakfast is always included...we have a chef

our BUSY months are june july and august
the best month is oct but most people don't vacation in that month...kids are in school

we run the ac from 3pm to 7am in the summer...there are now two ac units in each detached suite

living on the bay is nice....
the dolphins swim by everyday

we made a good choice leaving LA california

My bad. It's just that all the times I have driven past on he main highway, it did not appear to me to be in Concepcion.

That said, having looked at so many photos of your place, I just have to ask, why so much concrete? I get that having a bunch of hard scape saves water, but I must admit that the main reason we never stopped in was because it just looked so hot. Far from tropical. Sorry.

The center piece of the resort is an immaculate clean fresh water swimming pool... the cement around it and to the casitas insures little dirt gets tracked into the pool, which Susan manicures daily!

Thanks for the great place to stay Bob and Susan. It was perfect! We made it down to Loreto fast. It was totally flat the entire way.

Pic from the re-fuel in Mulege before heading down.
