I'm fine. Cant be more specific, right now. We made it safely, uneventfully. A bit choppy and windy on the Baja side, but, generally smooth cruising.

More later.......gotta go.

No, he came over and fished the Punta Chivato Bulls Only Dorado Tournament. He got the award for coming the farthest to participate. Now we need to figure out how to get the Mulege guys to show up. You can launch at the river, come over for the 8:00 Shotgun start, fish, unload your winning fish at the dock, and return to the river. I am sure you would drive the road for your $1,000 prize, and if not, I will accept for you and deliver (right).

Jim, what were the specifics about some supposedly new enforcement powers that some agency in the Mexican government has been given to stop all the commercial catching of sportfish. I heard some talk about it around one of the dinners but never heard the details.

Who can enforce what, suddenly? Was this bust of that Guaymas seiner with all the dorado related to this?

As I understand it, and at my age it may be foggy, is that PESCA has enforcement powers now and does not have to always go through FONMAR for approval for an enforcement. If that is totally true, then it could be a really big deal since as Vince Radice pointed out in his videos, Mexico City can really drag their feet if they think something will hurt the rich donors to their operation.
