Walking over border with a dog

Hi, my car broke down in TJ and is at a shop. My girlfriend and her dog and I need to be crossing by foot tonight, does anyone know if they allow dogs to cross at the pedestrian crossing?

I did it once about 10 years ago at San Ysidro. Same situation as you. No problems.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. I'll make a note here if it doesn't work

A photo ID with paw print would be helpful!

Just whistle, have sun glasses on and grab a walking stick for a blind person. Oh, almost forgot, get a little red or green jacket for the dog.
