Roads to - and in - Todos Santos

I've seen photos of the main drag in Todos Santos torn up for utility work. Rumor has it that they will be repaved by the end of the year, but some of the people I know who live there are not so sure. Does anyone know?

And I've also heard that the construction of a road from the airport to just south of Todos Santos is nearly complete. Is this true? During my last 2 visits, construction in downtown Cabo got me extremely lost, nearly causing me to miss my flight. The new road would be just what the doctor ordered.

New toll road is open, but not officially inaugurated (Mexican thing they do to their roads) no tolls yet. Got from airport to Cerritos 1 hour 5 minutes. Downtown Todos is a mess at the moment. When will it be done? All new infrastructure will be nice as it was needed

Thanks for the reply! Where does the toll road begin and end? I'm guessing the inauguration will take place before my next visit in January.

I agree that the infrastructure updates were necessary, and the new pavement will be very welcome whenever it's finally complete. In any case, I'm glad we chose to stay in Pescadero this time around.
