Dial *111 for more info and to sign up.

It's worth about $3.00 USD per month.

I got it a month ago on a 300 minute a month plan because I didn;t have a history of usage - so that is the only plan they would sell me. And signed up for the sin frontera 50 peso a month addition.

Have only had it for just over a month but happy with it so far.

Since TelCel just started it, don;t know how much history type of info you can get on the plan.

Also the *111 people have English speakers and are really helpful.

299 pesos + 50 pesos for the sin frontera part.

Have to have a Mexico credit card - or pay 3 months in advance.

That's what I did.

So paid in August and next payment due Dec. 10 -897 pesos.

Hola Mula, OK I understand that paying 3 months in advance would be
3 x 299 = 897 but what about the 50 Peso sin frontera part, is that a monthly charge also......Thanks

FYI, just called TracPhone and they do not allow any calling from mexico and the agent did not know who TelCel was...Maybe need to try different agent.
Anybody actually use them from Mexico yet?

They're going to collect the 50 pesos sin frontera part in the Dec. payment because I signed up for it after I had already paid the initial 3 months.

You have to have a CURP, 2 cell phone references and 1 reference with a land line phone and a water or electric bill.

Then they call from Tijuana to verify your references - so you have to make sure the references you give will answer the phone when a call comes in from Tijuana. This is sometimes a big hold up here.

Took a friend 2 weeks to get her account because no one would answer the TJ calls.
