Getting FMM at San Ysidro, Driving

When driving, do you pull over to the right and park to go into the office before or after going through the gates with the red/green lights?

Anybody know?

Instead of turning left to pass through the red-green gates and Aduna inspections, go straight and park in the lot in front of you. Walk through the SAT building and as you exit, make an immediate left turn. INM is in a little office on your left

It has been posted also that if you go through the red/green light gate first, there is parking on the other side and you just walk back north to the INM office.

I got the free 7 day FMM a few months ago at San Ysidro. The agent filled out the form for me and it was the quickest process I have been through to get an FMM. I parked just past the SAT building on the right side...

Thanks for this. I've usually driven thru gates, and parked after xing, but if there are a lot of tour busses or other cars it can be a bit crowded.

Next time I'll try parking before entering the lines.

Thanks. The last few times, we've gone through the gates and parked and then were delayed because we had to be inspected,
