SCORE IV250

The IV250 race today only had 86 entries. 20 some odd were motorcycles and quads. SCORE has really gone down hill in the last few years. Maybe Roger Norman should re-think what he is doing.

Racing CODE and RECORD is a whole lot less expensive and yes they are less miles. Usually in the 200-250 range and they are getting 300+ entries.

Outside of the Baja 500 and 1000 and possibly the SF250 I don't see Norman keeping a 5 race series. Of course if you keep charging more per race it will last a while. But pretty soon only the Trophy Trucks will be racing and maybe that is what he wants.

It seems obvious that the trophy truck class is what he is focused on.
Time will tell if that works out

Hope he gets a wake up call... The economy still sucks for most who are typical off road racing folks (contractors, desert enthusiasts, etc.)! Unless the sport is for TV viewers now who only see (mostly) trophy trucks and smattering of a few or just a couple other classes?

Best-In-The-Desert for USA races and CODE for Baja Norte.

Maybe Roger needs Sal Fish for some advice. At least Sal honored the tradition begun by NORRA and continued by Mickey Thompson's SCORE. Roger sure ruined the sport for motorcycles... and maybe the ma and pop classes, like Class 11, 5-1600, 10, etc.
