Tecate to Cabo

Went on an 8 day off road ride from Tecate to Cabo with my son and 6 other guys, one of them posted a video, worth a look if you like that sort of stuff.

Look like you went right by BajaRob's at Bahia Santa Maria?
A fun off road run... surprised to see a cow in the middle of Laguna Chapala!
Thanks for the link...

It was a blast Tom.

We have been on a few several day rides in Baja plus lots of pre running and rider chasing over the years but I've always wanted to do the whole peninsula and figured I should do it sooner rather than later...not getting any younger you know. I knew that the speed we would be riding wouldn't be his cup of tea but we did keep a pretty brisk pace. I really appreciated him taking the time off and providing bikes for us to do it.

He brought 2 bikes down from New Mexico so that I could fly up to San Diego and ride one of his bikes back down, kept me from having to go up and back and up and back. Another big advantage was that he gave me a perfectly prepared, fresh bike, I gave it back filthy with dirty filters and oil, and worn out tires....heck of a deal.

We had a fun 1500 mile ride, only about 100 on pavement. No injuries, no whining, no problems.

Where can I adopt a kid like that!!

Sounds like you had an epic adventure. I am jealous!

Tecate to Cabo is a classic ride everyone should do at least once, its such a wonderful feeling at the end, and no small accomplishment. Congrats on getting it done. Cool vid.
