La Paz to La Ventana bus leaves from the corner of Bravo and Guillermo Prieto. (across from the Bravo Market) I believe twice a day and then returns from Ventana to La Paz. If you PM me I will go ask them the times.

bus only runs one trip each way a day.

departs LaVentana at 7am +/_ 15 minutes. and he does not always run sundays and holidays.

departs LaPaz for LV about 2pm could be 3pm.

not sure I want to tell ya about taxi.... ouch............$$$$$$

if coming from cabo there are vans that come directly here for generally USD$60.00 each way. I can give you thse emails if you PM me. LaPaz to here by taxi is over USD$130.00 from the airport and maybe $100.00 from the city..

It is easy and safe to hitchhike. take a taxi to the last intersection on the road to LV in LaPaz where there are some taco stands. about USD$8.00 for that taxi ride, unless leaving the airport. The airport taxis add about $30.00.

In general if there at that point not to difficult to get a ride, maybe to the turn off and again easy from there into town. The police have even given me a ride from the turnoff (new used truck had a flat so left it on the mountain to get a better tire i had, hitched down the mountain and then from the turnoff) .

I personally do pick up hitchhikers with luggage myself when passing that spot. Due to not wanting people with drugs I do not pick up people without luggage unless they are elderly rancher looking types.

The bus from Bravo Street area to LV is 60 or 70 pesos or so.

also note there is a rideboard for LV from/to Cabo airport. It is not public, so you need to know someone here.

I post the recent ones from a local list without the contact info on it as people do not want their emails on public websites. But I can put you in touch with these people. www.la-ventana.info then go to rideshare...

Also at the bottom at the bottom travel by air I have issues above noted too.
