Isn't this stuff great?
No, I haven't seen them nor asked Poncho about them. This book about Padre Consag's 1746 boat trip to the top of the gulf I have only found since my last time at San Rafael.
Maybe longtime San Rafael campers Bajaboy or elgatoloco know of it?

They sound just like other hot springs in the tidal range along the coast (San Felipe, El Coloradito, Puertecitos, Bahia Concepcion, Agua Verde (San Cosme), and one along the East Cape I heard mentioned.
