crossing at TJ

Any problem crossing at San Ysidro with a 24 ' toy hauler and the Xray machine?
Just wondering about size for the xray?
Don't want to get turned around.
Thanks Mike

Well I've pulled bigger boats across with never an issue but then I've never been x-rayed to my knowledge. They just send me to secondary where they just climb inside.

Hey Mike!

I took my 26' toy hauler through TJ last month and went through the X-ray. No issues at all and more than enough room to pull a rig that size through.

Took my 32' boat (35' trailer) through the one in Nogales five years ago.

Thanks Geoff, I don't know if you remember me, I'm the guy that was at San Carlos when you took the walk down the coast with the boys.
Do I need to go all the way over to the left or just pull into secondary?

HI SatMike;
Went through SY 3 weeks ago with a Polaris on a trailer...
They make you go through the far RIGHT lane, next to the immigration office building (declare lane), so you can go through the Xray.

Its no problem, may take ten minutes or so longer, but they also didn't dig through all the camp gear and various things we were carrying in the Truck and small camper shell.

Have Fun
Alan from San Diego

****And make sure you have all of your registrations handy. They wanted to match the VIN#'s on the registration to the Polaris & trailer (not the truck), and also looked at my passport to see that my name matched

Of course I remember you Mike!

What DawnPatrol said is spot on...they made me go through the declare lane on the far right. Easy process and it only takes a few minutes.
