I don't own a prius but I'd say the gasoline portion of their power plant is no different than any other gasoline engine and not have a problem.

I have over 15,000 miles on my Prius driving to Cabo San Lucas each April and Mulege each August. No problem except using the liters that their pumps indicate give me poorer gas mileage. Guess why.

Mexican sold gasoline is better than any sold in California as it is not diluted with ethanol.

The Prius will not like third world Mexican gas. It is made from beans. Nor can you you plug it into the Mexican power grid. Donkey dodo is powering the inferior generators.

When in Mexico you can only drive a mexico made car or one that has been appropriately modified by a Mexican mechanic after his siesta. Prius excluded because his sombrero will not fit under the bonnet.

This is a racist quote if I have ever seen one...

WHY BOTHER BEEN A MEMBER OF THIS BOARD IF THIS IS YOUR ATTITUDE ABOUT MEXICO, IT'S FOOD, IT'S WORKERS, ETC.!

BTW...my Prius has been running better on Mexican gas than on US gas. I drive south with the check engine light on. After filling up with Pemex gas, the light goes out after about 50 miles.

Silly old man. It was a joke. It was written that way because of the OP's obvious ignorance of Baja.:saint:
