San Felipe,
There are diesel pumps at Gonzoga but no fuel at least when we came thru last month..
next fuel at Maria Jesus or G.N. right at 250 miles from SF to GN

When I ran diesel in the past I always had 2 yellow bottles chained in the bed of my truck if diesel happened to end up scarce. I'd also remember to dump 'em in the tank after a few weeks so the fuel didn't go sour on me (big problems later on). Of course, that was before all the newer Pemex stations have been built since, other than the one pesky stretch between SQ/ El Rosario and Jesus Maria. Here's hoping the rumor of the Bahia L.A. Jct. Station will become a reality again.

NOTE: Have 'em empty when you cross the border into Mexico, fill 'em on your way south, same with gas -OLINE- bottles. :P

Regular, if it is open... top off in San Felipe southbound just in case. Gonzaga is 100 miles from San Felipe.

In an emergecy, the Rancho Grande store sells gas and diesel if the Pemex is closed or out. Note: the Pemex does (or has) closed for Lunch/Siesta daily so avoid needing gas in the early afternoon!
