Replacement convertible top for 72 VW Beetle?

My father in law is looking for a place along the border between San Luis Rio Colorado and TJ where he can have a new convertible top put on his VW bug. It needs pretty much everything, including the cables, pads along the framing and the top, of course. Any recommendations? He lives in HavaZoo.

A good way to find and contact the active Vocheros along the border is talk to the clubs or groups through Facebook, ask the question to the group or find someone with the same car and ask and search on volkswagon or vocho groups with the city or try these:

If my memory serves me correctly (always iffy!), the body for the convertible model was manufactured by an Italian company that also made the Karmen Ghia (sp?)

I know...this doesn't help a bit, but consider it a bump for information.
