Abandoned Mental Hospital??

David, or anyone else, do you have a GPS for that abandoned mental hospital in BCS. I had it on Google maps once but can't find it now.

Unfortunately, the clouds sometimes spill over to this side of the forum!

Thanks Nomads

Perfect. I was mistaken about the purpose of the hospital, but that's it.

What is "Off Topic" about an interesting place in Baja Sur?

Glad you got the answer tehag! You can also search TB and find more. It is quite easy to spot north and a bit west from Santiago.

The hospital is on private fenced land. Talk to a few nearby locals for access and a key to the gate. It is always appreciated to pay the "guide" a propina.

And just why would any tourist be interested in this? Sure, from a historical perspective it means something. But, I doubt it would ever be a tourist attraction.

Hospital

Perhaps there are people other than tourists visiting Baja for whom such a structure might be of scientific, architectural, or other interest.
