small Drascombe sailboat rental ne Santispac ...contacts?

Howdy

Does anyone know a contact for renting a small (very small) sailboat near Santispac ?

We spent some time on Bahia Escondida and heard that someone had a small english sailor for rent ...never found them....can't remember the name of the boat type..Drascombes?.

Many thanks

Aldervale

NOLS has a fleet at Playa Coyote. I sailed one from there to south of Loreto over what was one of the best three week periods of my life. I wonder if the rent them.

Rental sailboat

Thanks Apple

I thought NOLS was gone from there.....maybe a misunderstanding on my part.

I noticed in someones' recent flyover video of the area that there were several of these boats moored....did not see them in January...perhaps they were out on a trip.

Thanks again

There's a gringo living toward the south end of El Burro that rents kayaks. He may be able to help you out or point you in the right direction.

The NOLS boats were out in 2011 when I rode up the peninsula w/ DT Bushpilot to the mine at the north end...anchored off the fish camp half-way up...

No idea about an answer to OP....but looks like a good idea....:light:

It is possible that NOLS is gone, I haven't been there since February of 2014, but they were then. They also have space to store them on land, so that may be why you didn't see them on the video.

NOLS is still in business at Playa Coyote. I doubt very much that NOLS will rent out boats. I do not know any boat rentals, beside kayaks on Bahia Concepcion.
