BF Goodrich All Terrains in Loreto
Does anyone know if I can get BF Goodrich All Terrains in Loreto? If so, are prices about the same as in the US?
I think there was a thread on this issue on here some time ago, but I failed to find it.
Thanks!

Thanks! It looks like they sell BFG, and a Tersa All Terrain that looks suspiciously like the BFG...
I'll check them out!

I had some front end work done at Tersa last month. First rate shop with knowledgeable employees. They had lots of tires in stock, but we just
needed an emergency front end repair. Give them a try.

I also highly recommend Tersa in Loreto. New equipment, very friendly and professional and they speak great English.
I bought 6 Goodyear 235/85R-16 120 LT commercial tires and with tax, balancing and front end alignment it came out to 15,000 pesos which is approx.
$145 each.
I also bought 4 of their Tersa brand for my Jeep Liberty and have had no problems with them so far. I am sure a major manufacturer make them.
(Cooper?)
If I can help you get a price, let me know.

Fili's has the best prices on BFG tires..I just put 4 new BFG's on my Jeep Liberty for less than 135. dollars each.. Same tire I bought in the states
4 years ago for 165. dollars (of course that included tax and disposal fees, with balancing also.).. Fili is on Highway One just past the Airport
turnoff going south from Loreto. He also has new alignment and balancing equipment.. Check around before you buy your tires in Loreto..

Great news, I didn't know Fili carried BFGs.
filisshop@gmail.com They check email about 3 times aweek and best if it is in Spanish, altho Fili speaks english, his wife and bookkeeper do not.
btw, one of the best mechanics around.

I run Kumhos on the '63 Willys Wagon, daily driver/pre runner and they are great on and off road. 6 years and 60% tread left. I have run Kumhos on
several cars and they last forever. Simply great tires.

You will love them. I would have bought Kumhos for the race car, but they don`t make the size i need.
I just bought KM2s , 30x10.5x15 for 3000 pesos each at Fernomex in Loreto 3 days ago. Fwiw

The Tersas are a copy of the bfg's and made in China. They seem to hold up well and would be an excellent tire for Baja. They would have no
guarantee in the USA.
Tersa is a large company with stores/shops throughout Baja and Baja Sur. They also distribute tires to the independent shops.

Thanks for the info on the Tersas. I couldn't find pricing info on them.
I've driven by the Tersa in Loreto twice recently. They were closed both times. Sundays...
We'll see when I will be by the next time.

Mark, I have a friend that uses them and the llantera in Abreojos sells them. Both say they are good so far. I am considering putting them on my
Jeep.
