bougainvillea nursery?
For the life of me I don't recall ever seeing a nursery from TJ to SQ; but there must be one somewhere in Northern Baja; any recommendations?
Need to pick up a couple of plants in a few weeks.

If you can't find a mom and pop store, maybe the garden section of Home Depot?
And the key I have found with planting boogies is to treat the root balls VERY gently as you transfer them to the hole in the ground. Good luck!
No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

Guadalupe Valley
On Hwy 3, headed toward Tecate as you cross the river/wash just before Francisco Zarco, there are two. One on your right just after you cross the
bridge. The other is on your left, "under" the bridge (just after you cross the bridge, make a right turn and follow the dirt road under the bridge to
the nursery)......large selection
In San Antonio de las Minas, the La Hacienda restaurant and nursery
Several in Ensenada, one is just south of Wal Mart/across from Costco on Hwy 1, the other is across from the Soriana/Office Depot plaza on Hwy 1, just
up from the Navy base (next to the San Nicholas meat market)

The main drag through Ensenada has a number of retail nurseries (including Walmart, and Home Depot.) who carry a variety of colors of the plants.

I have a neighbor in Bahia who has picked them up in San Felipe and they survived Bahia conditions. Unfortunately, I don't know where exactly the
nursery is, and it's not on your route. I'm not much of a plant guy but apparently some varieties handle the Cortez climate better than others which
are more suited to the Pacific climate.
