Yes, up north and cruised around 8 miles on the beach back towards home looking for sign of fish. Saw nothing. Water is colder but maybe it needs to be even more cold? Wind has been persistent for about 6 weeks from the north.

Fished today in Pescadero, nada, no bait. I ran into a guy yesterday, he caught a 35-40 # cubera snapper from beach south. Going to head that way in the morn. Surf coming the beginning of week. bk

Wow, a 35-40# snapper from the surf is an impressive catch. I assume this is actually a Pacific Dog Snapper? Thought the cubera snapper was an Atlantic species.

Pacific Cubera Snapper (Dog Tooth Snapper), impressive fish.

Fished:
Last Friday Elias Calle - nada
Pescadero Sat. - nada
Punta Arena - Ventana- Only needle fish,no roosters a ton of bait
Pescadero- Tuesday - nada

The water is cold and zero bait on the Pacific side, the water seemed to be a few degrees warmer on tuesday. back north for awhile.
