More about endangered Vaquita porpoise and Totoaba sea bass

Opinion piece/blog from the New York Times re: endangered Vaquita porpoise and the relationship with illegal fishing for the Totoaba sea bass in the northern Sea of Cortez.

Wonder why someone in China haven't started farm raising Totoaba for the market. I do believe that Mexico had or has a program that was reintroducing Totoaba fry that were hatched in a control program / and RELEASED and had the population back up to a point that they were going to allow recreational fishing limits (1) ?
