Lemon tree
I'd like to buy a Meyer lemon tree, preferably grafted. Any suggestions in La Paz or Cabo?
Thank you.

Ours is fullgrown. We got it years ago from the nursery on the highway between Constitucion and Insurgentes on the west side of the road. I believe
it's still there.

Actually, they are usually not for many fruit varieties... to get the true variety of fruit, it must be a grafted tree. Seedlings are not usually true
to the fruit they came from.

Did you see 'The World's Fastest Indian' (Anthony Hopkins in New Zealand)?

The citrus grafting nursery on the west side of the road by the propane plant going towards Constitucion is closed. Closed down 2 + years ago.
Father got tired and the kids didn't want it, so he closed it. His name is Ildefonso Green.
And they didn't do Meyers. Eureka and Lemon Real.

I know ours is not a Eureka, so it must be a Real? Not familiar with that one, that's why I thought ours was a Meyers.
BTW, what's the difference?

Meyer lemons are more like an orange in aroma and they resist frost. They are the only type that grow well in NorCal.

I have one here in BCS, still in the pot, not doing real well. Lot's of my smuggled plants have issues with the high ambient temps in the summer, even
protected from the direct sun.
The German type berries, all died......

Lemon
A few years ago Baja was under the ocean, very salty soil. I tried flowers and fruit trees all died.
Cotton does well, my fence is great.
